Fair Trade Buffalo Medium Leather Journal Brown
Available on back-order
Great as a travel journal or simply as a gift to someone special. These buffalo leather journals are produced using traditional methods which allow the leather to retain its character. This means that each journal is unique and comes with its own set of beautiful creases, bumps and marks that develop with age into something truly special. The leather is protected with natural oils to give it a lovely rich finish and make it hard-wearing – we love a journal that can tell a story of its travels!
A wrap around fastening adds a touch of rustic charm and makes opening and closing the journal something that is both stylish and securing.
Dimensions: 14 x 18 x 3 cm
These journals have been expertly crafted with the pages hand stitched in and are ideal for journaling, travelling and perfect for just doodling or diary writing. Each stylish leather journal has approximately 120 pages of unlined khadda paper; khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. It is handmade and doesn’t contain any chemicals as we use only unbleached cotton. The paper is very easy to write on but does have a slight texture. We do not advise using an ink pen on this paper, ballpoint or gel pen will work the best.
These fabulous leather journals are handmade from genuine buffalo leather by skilled artisans in India. Using real leather means that you may find creases, small marks or blemishes on the journals and some small differences in colour from the one shown, this is the natural character of leather and we really like the unique quality it gives to each product.
